General Sale for Watford

Hi
Me and my lads fly to the UK for the weekend of the 10th September. Now i am wondering how are the chances that we can buy some tickets for the PL game against Watford. I couldn't find any information of the ticket site and the sale office didn't answer me.
My you could give me the information about the general sale and when it would start.

But i am right, that the chances to get tickets on the member sale are quite small? Cause the new stadium holds 60,000 of which 52,000 are season ticket holders. Of the remaining 8,000 I think it's 10% of the capacity goes to the away support (as Watford is almost a London derby there will probably be a good take up of those) which leaves 2,000 tickets that will go on sale to members?

Thx Buster, that with the group application sounds good.
Hopefully the club will announce their ticket sale some days in advance. Any idea when? How many weeks before the match?

You can apply as a group, so if one of you is successful then all of you are. They would all need a membership though, as it's one ticket per member.

Thx brooking_1980, that would be an other idea.
But as a member is it possible to buy tickets for other members too? Or worst case would be all 5 mates bought a membership but just two of them get tickets at the ballot?

Yes, all members have the same chance regardless of length of service. But as brooking said, you'll probably get people selling tickets nearer the time on here.

If that is 3 x £ 45 = £ 135 and you're still going through a ballot, then I'd probably leave it and take a chance on buying one nearer the day.
By that time maybe the new season Ticket people the novelty will have worn off and there could be Tickets more available ??

So if I and every of my mates buy a Claret Member International (£45.00) we have the same chance to get tickets like long time member who attended several games last season?

Makes no odds when you become a member, the ballot is supposedly a random thing. But everyone you want tickets for also has to be a member.

The first and only 3pm game before December should we progress in the Europa.
Not a chance these will reach general sale, your only hope will be buying a membership and entering the ballot.
